SoundBoard Celebrates in True Leadership Style

Richard Magid Last week SoundBoard's President and Founder Richard Magid hit a milestone...TEN years in business.
Richard started SoundBoard Consulting with the mission of helping entrepreneurial led organizations be successful. It is the belief and passion of SoundBoard (led by Richard) that in order to be a great leader, one has to tap into the full potential of the people supporting him or her. We preach often to our clients that it is their responsibility to create an environment where their employees feel empowered, are given the opportunity for development and are recognized for their achievements. With great enjoyment we planned a surprise celebration and incorporated some of our "teachings" within our own team....here are just a few!

Celebrate Successes: We treated Richard to a wonderful lunch at Bubby's Restaurant in Tribeca, NYC.

Encourage Team Building: Richard often uses the story of Sisyphus pushing the rock up the hill and how leaders need to build a team that helps move that rock in the right direction, not a team that is blocking that rock. At our celebration lunch, the SoundBoard team all made commitments to Richard, noted their commitment on a small rock and shared it aloud; all in support of moving SoundBoard further "up that hill".
Recognize Achievements: Richard has truly touched and impacted so many lives in the past 10 years. We reached out to current clients, past clients, business associates, influencers and friends to provide us with a note of congratulations to Richard which were put into a journal...the words of gratitude,
respect and warmth were tremendous, rendering Richard speechless (and maybe a little choked up). The SoundBoard team each also contributed their own words of thanks as well.

Have Fun & Relax: We all work really hard and are always moving very fast, we are inspired by Richard's relentless pursuit of his vision and we support him 100%. It is always important to stop, relax, reflect and just be in the moment, so we added that component by sailing around the New York City harbor for 2 hours on a beautiful June afternoon.
